And then on the way there, he convinced me to, you know, come out with him.

And I was like, okay, like, sure.

I'm so antisocial.

Like, unless I'm getting like an invite, I don't think to go out.

Um, so I was like, yeah, okay, cool.

And he's like, oh, and we'll meet up with the guys and stuff and it'll be fun.

I was like, okay.

And I said, but I've got beer all over me from the bar work.

I'm like, I'll just go home and freshen up and then we'll go out.

He's like, okay, cool.

Do that.

And then I – so I go home to my place and get ready, have a shower and he's just hanging out in the lounge room, whatever, whatever.

We go out.

He's really got no kind of urgency to find his friends and I was like, where are your mates, where are your mates?

Yeah.

And something really started to kind of like go, oh, you know, that cold chill that you get where like something's up, like something's weird.

And so my kind of motivation to be out was,

just started to go and I was like I'm gonna go home like all the best he's like oh let me oh my friends aren't oh they're not here anymore my friends aren't here anymore and that's like where he lived was like an hour away he's oh would you mind if I crash on your couch and I won't be a bother blah blah blah

And I was like, like, fine.
