So the Crusades were this thing in the medieval times when all the people from Europe decided that the Christians needed to own the Holy Lands.

So the Holy Lands are like the modern, like the Middle East kind of like.

And they were like, we don't like that Muslims are, you know, non-Christians own them.

So we're going to go do some war over it.

It's super fucked up and cool.

And that's what Louis decides he's going to do.

And so he's like, I'm going to go do the Second Crusades.
