And rapper Nicki Minaj setting off a fierce political debate by backing up voter ID laws in a post on SX, asking what sensible, forward thinking, cutting edge leading nation is having a debate on whether or not there should be voter ID.

And it looks like Americans are backing up the queen of rap.

According to a Fox News poll, 84 percent of Americans agree with voter ID, including 85 percent of white people, 82 percent of Hispanics and 81 percent of blacks.

So it explains why Trump is putting his political weight behind the SAVE Act.

That requires proof of citizenship to register and vote in federal elections.

Democrats, though, they are dusting out the old Jim Crow 2.0.

Well, he just admitted that it doesn't give Trump the powers that he claims that he wanted the powers for.

Look, the way voting is administered is obviously questionable.

We all have questions about it.

The tell is the vehement resistance to voter I.D., you know.

How can you be against voter ID and claim you're doing nothing wrong?

If you're honest, it wouldn't mean anything to you.

In fact, you would you would crave this oversight because you should be rightly worried about MAGA.

I mean, hell, you know what?

I don't know why Democrats don't come out for voter ID just to protect themselves from these evil.

I mean, we're the Gestapo.
