But the war crimes language, Kat, I mean, that is like literally Iranian talking points.
Well, a lot of times for politicians, war becomes political.
My concern now and always is about our service members.
And seeing a jet get shot down like this, it does raise the possibility of escalation, which does scare me because a few days ago we were told, you know,
And now we're seeing this and it does scare me.
And for me, it's not it's not political at all.
Just as the wife of a combat veteran, seeing what happened in Afghanistan and then just seeing my husband suffer as he watched everything he fought for and that some of his classmates and friends died for fall apart so quickly.
I mean, even war changes people and seeing that up so quickly.
close and personal, changed me, even though I was always somebody who was a bit of a skeptic.
But, of course, I can't help but notice how some people who are just suddenly outraged about this war didn't seem to care so much about the ones before.
So if you care about the consequences of war, then that should matter every time and not just when it's politically convenient.
So, I mean, I know that this is a part of war.
And that's exactly why I'm so hesitant about war.
And I know a lot of people in my generation are more skeptical or are more concerned because we are the generation that fought the wars that we had in the Middle East already.
