And then I just ran out of the rink and got in my buddy's car and left.

And it was before cell phones and everything.

So he had no idea.

He's looking around this rink with, there's like 10 rinks up there.

He's walking around, had no idea where I was, but I knew I was going back to school.

So I wasn't going to be home.

So I could just go to school and he, you know, I wouldn't, I wasn't going to catch the hands from him.

And when you finally saw him next?

Not good, not good.

Um, the, the worst one was when I was at Milton high, my grades were really, really bad.

And he, he, he, he suspended me from the hockey team.

I didn't get to play for two weeks, which in high school, public high school hockey, you only play, I think we played like 17, 18 games.

So to miss two games was a lot.

And I think that was kind of one of those things where it's like, okay, you at least got to

show up to class and do your thing if you want to do what you really love in the hockey department.

So that was a good life lesson, but it sucked at the time.

I remember when my games were going on, he didn't even let me go to the games.

I was just sitting in my basement crying, pissed that I wouldn't be there.

You're letting your teammates down, right?

Not being there.
