I totally agree.

I'm sure he is.

And you can feel good about process stuff, but process is what people talk about when they lose.

I don't care about process.

I care about who won the game.

When you look up at the end, who had the most runs.

We can break it down with any analytic and any advanced metric we can, and those are valuable and they matter over a long season.

But people only talk about process and those types of things when they have lost.

You want to talk about results and winning some games, and that's got to happen quick with Scherzer, because it's him and Corbin, essentially, at this point.

Kirk can go in a lot of places, but I like him in kind of that 4-5 spot.

You need some sort of secondary offense behind Vlad.

Well, Vlad needs to provide primary offense, number one.

But you need something else behind him, a little bit of protection.

And Kirk can be so many different types of people.

If there is a runner on third base and one out, and you just need a ball in play to score a batter...

I want Kirk up more than I want any other hitter in this organization, more than Vladdy, I think quite easily.

He is the guy who can understand a situation and put a ball in play.

So I love him at that 4-5 where he's getting opportunities to produce runs.

You don't want him one or two.

He'll clog up the bases a little bit, and that's okay.
