Now, like any of us who watch football, we don't hear ACL sprain much.
It's always just a tear, right?
And it can still end in this spot.
Baseball injuries are kind of played out weird.
Everything is announced initially as either a contusion or discomfort, which either means you got hit by something or you pulled something or tore something.
Then you kind of get stage two of the diagnosis, which we're on right now.
It's an ACL sprain.
This could still be a full ACL tear and he's gone until next year.
Or it could be a mid-grade strain and you try to pull off the old Marcus Stroman miracle return where he came back for the playoffs.
I don't know how that works.
It'll be pretty tough.
But I feel terribly for the guy.
just so early into his return to the big leagues.
