And I thought it was going to get really awkward really quickly because you had eight starters.
And that's back when we didn't know that Trey Savage had his shoulder thing.
That's back when we thought Shane Bieber would be built up quicker.
But now, even when you look at Trey Savage, he threw 50-plus pitches today in a rehab game.
He'll be back in a couple weeks.
But do I trust that Jose Barrios can pitch through a cracked elbow?
It'll be the first one I've covered.
Do I trust that this is the last time I ever say the word forearm about Max Scherzer?
Especially with how they handle players now.
I think the Blue Jays are a cautious team bringing players back, but I've learned over the years, and that's not always cautious in a bad way, I've learned over the years that just like with Jose Barrios coming back to this, building back up, I always try to add 50% to what I actually think will happen.
If I think it's going to be a month, it's probably six or seven weeks.
Same with Alejandro Kirk coming back.
