I think Barger's that next guy they really need.

It does.

You're chasing the Rays.

I don't think there's such a thing as a small divisional series, guys, especially now that you're playing fewer divisional games.

You're not playing 19 of these each season anymore.

And if the Blue Jays are going to pull this off and make us talk about them in late September, they are going to be trying to chase down the Rays.

And I know that in this market, we focus mostly on the Yankees, because to most Blue Jays fans, the Yankees are big brother.

And you're still trying to chase them, even with how last year went.

The Rays are really damn good.

And they are back to being that like annoying team that you don't hear about much because we're not going to talk about the Rays nationally in the U.S.

or anything.

but you're going to look up and they're going to be there.

So this is one where they need to get some sort of momentum.

You can't keep hovering around three, four, five games below 500, but they're facing good pitching.

Man, the Rays are a real test.

Yeah, and last year was, I feel like, the one outlier.

Because last year, the Blue Jays played kind of Rays-style baseball, which is airtight, clean baseball, and you make the other team screw up first.

Like, when the Rays are good, outside of, man, Caminero, like, they don't have overwhelming star power.

When you list their lineup on a sheet of paper, it's not going to scare you.
