Four, they need to figure out their catching without Alejandro Kirk.

Their catching has been a mess lately.

Tyler Heinemann has not carried over that magic from last year.

He was spectacular last year.

Full credit to Tyler Heinemann.

He had a breakout season at about 34 years old.

Good defensive catcher.

Everything he hit made it through somewhere last year.

Some of the fundamental errors have come back this year.

And if you're going to be six or seven weeks with that Alejandro Kirk, like I'm a big Brandon Valenzuela guy.

He looks raw, though, doesn't he?

And he had a big at-bat where he chased that high fastball, looked completely overwhelmed.

So do you give him three starts a week and let him figure it out?

Or do you just hand this to Heinemann and say you're the guy for this?

Because I think that Brandon Valenzuela can be their backup catcher for the next five years behind Alejandro Kirk.

And I think they'd work well together, but it hasn't looked good.

And you need something from the bottom of this lineup that's just not doing much lately.

And the catching position with Alejandro Kirk, they're blessed, man.
