Who other than Vladdy is going to hit home runs?
Dalton Varsha had, what, five home runs in spring training?
Well, last year when he was healthy, he did.
This guy was mashing last year.
He hit 20 in like 71 games.
He looked incredible.
And Varsha is not at all the biggest guy on the team.
He might be the smallest guy on the team, but pound for pound, he's the strongest.
Like, unbelievably built.
Like, if I was turning that team into a football, he'd be like my running back.
Like, he is rock solid, really built, but you're not seeing that power early this year.
And what worries me a bit, guys, we saw him tested as a defender a couple times in the series.
His throwing arm isn't there.
His arm is struggling.
And that's something that hasn't really been talked about, and I think needs to be, because coming back from that shoulder surgery, right?
Yeah, he had that shoulder surgery last offseason.
And when you come back from it, when you look at his numbers so far, they're five, six, seven miles an hour slower.
You're seeing these arcing balls going into the infield.
