Raymond Jennings was the person who killed their daughter.
And again, it was because, you know, he came off as the man who knew too much and didn't bring a lawyer to the interview, didn't bring a lawyer to the interview with the police.

Somebody who felt, well, I didn't do it, and I can tell them what happened, so I'll be helpful.
It was a perfect example of why, even if you want to be helpful and you're not guilty, it's a wise thing to have an attorney there with you so that you don't get yourself into trouble like he did.
Even if you're a highly experienced detective, he talked to everybody who was there and nothing made any sense except that this security guard was talking too much.
And that's usually a sign, often a sign that somebody, you know, is trying to hide his guilt by being too helpful.
But it's only one of many signs, except if that's all you have, you tend to latch onto it.
