Jamie Carragher was watching that.
Jamie, 24 years ago, rather, but it feels like we're talking about football in the 50s with no access to information.
Everybody's there with pretty much wind-up radios next to their ear trying to find out what was going on, and nobody knew.
and tried to do his best really but I always think it's strange when managers don't have that information at that stage of a season on the final games I think it's very important as we saw then You mentioned that final day of the season in 1995 Gary you played in the game at Upton Park Manchester United were drawing one all against West Ham and needed one goal in order to win the Premier League title
Because it happened so early in your career, did you use that experience?
It's so rare for the title to go down to the final day.
Obviously, it's happened, but it doesn't happen often.
And that's why it creates such drama when it does.
And obviously, with Manchester United, Gary, you would have played in teams that would have had the league well wrapped up before the final day of the season.
And Karen, for you, were things pretty much decided by the time you got to the final day?
What were the occasions where you had maybe cup finals and things around the end of the season?
Gary also said that he didn't really feel that upset after losing games.
Well, I'd imagine you're the opposite.
We are going to move on here.
Coming up, we're going to be hearing from Grant Hanley, the captain of Norwich, on some of these discussions that are taking place between the Premier League and the Premier League captains.
That's coming up next on The Football Show.
Hello, welcome back to the Football Show.
Before the break, we were talking about dramatic final days where there was none really more dramatic in terms of Premier League survival than the one 15 years ago on this day.
So, yeah, West Brom stayed up.
Norwich, Southampton and Crystal Palace went down.
