I think that's a fair thing to say.
The perception from people who have to choose between paying for petrol or food...
having $30 cut a week from the accommodation, or the person doing it gets $1,000.
That's hard for Kiwis to stomach that.
It's a big difference in money.
No, well, I think that's a wider discussion, not only for Parliament, whether you should be making a profit if you're not spending that money.
an accommodation in Wellington, whether you're entitled to get that.
No, if your accommodation in Wellington costs you $250 a week, then you should be reimbursed for $250 a week.
Or would you cap that?
There's usually guidelines in terms of what that is.
