Grief is a heavy weight to continue to carry. It's very hard. And you suffer with this idea that, oh, by letting go of the grief, you're somehow letting go of them. But I learned through this book that that isn't the case. By hanging on to the things that are good, actually, I'm I'm closer to her as I was when I was with her, when she was with us. And so she is with us again. That's the key.

Remember is my favorite word. That is the most powerful word in the English language. The idea that you were once a member of something, you were once close to another person in their membership, and when you remember them, they're no longer gone.
