I don't like how he said it because I think he should have been wiser and more mature.
And if he was on the phone, I'd tell him this.
He has every right to his opinion, but he's now created some tension and resentment after the fact.
And only from his point of view.
And so for that reason, no, I don't think you should bring it up to your parents.
And I think you need to figure out how to process this.
Maybe it's therapy.
But to create tension now, to me, seems foolish.
