But you had a lot of guys in there who had a bit more money and loved to play for, loved to play like 20 quid in, 20 quid a man, game of doubles, handicap system.

you might have you might have bag snatchers running in from O'Connell Street down the stairs and running out the back door into Bachelor Bachelor's Walk lying there you know but you didn't you sort of you just took us this is the norm you know yeah we were playing we were playing in there one day we were playing on table table one

And it's like every Monday you used to put in your 20 quid and your name would be pulled out of a hat and they had their own little handicap system.

But we had two guys come down the stairs, hold up the guy, hold up the guy behind the counter for the money, you know, like there was like a raid almost, like, you know.

But we just kept, we looked around, your man was up against the wall, the other fella had a gun and...

We were still playing away.

This is more important.

And the big long queue case, you know.

And every Monday or Wednesday, that was my, that's how I learned, you know, to play the game.
