We've had the drama of the Miss Black with Mark Allen.
We've had an 18-17.
We had a 17-16 semifinal.
We had an incredible 17-15 final with Murphy and Higgins.
We had Ronnie O'Sullivan playing Higgins in the second round, you know, Ding Jun Wei playing Zing Tong, you know, so many incredible matches, so many great stories.
and so much drama as well you know and I think I think because of that when you put all those ingredients in the mix I think it's been one of the best championships that we've had probably ever yeah and the standard was incredible okay because I didn't know some of you know the real hardcore snooker types to be saying yeah but look I mean I know a bit like PSG Bayern almost a bit like yeah look it's exciting there's lots of goals but the quality not quite what it was so that's great to hear for you you could appreciate that there was brilliant snooker being played at the same time yeah it was yeah it was it was really top quality great to see I mean
I had all of us on the edge of our seats.
We didn't know who was going to win, who was going to hold up under the pressure.
And the atmosphere in the Crucible as well, you know, the field goal factor, that it's got to stay there, the reception the two lads got, you know, coming down the stairs.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think, yeah, like these guys now, they've started to come to the table and they don't want to leave it.
You know, they think this is their chance.
And it's great to see.
I probably wouldn't have gone for the yellow.
Most people back in the 90s wouldn't have gone for that.
Davis wouldn't have gone for it.
Hendry might have.
But no, they want to stay at the table.
They want to win the frame one visit.
And when they get that chance, they think that's the chance and that's it.
