We speak there about Sean Little's dad, Stephen Little, getting sucked into it.
It was widely speculated that a gunman who's serving a 20-year jail sentence, Qualon Smith, for his involvement in a Kinahan cartel sub-cell involving the attempted murder of James Baggo Gately, it was widely suspected that Smith was involved in the murder of Sean Little.
But what you have to remember about that as well, associates of Sean Little put that lie detector test in the public domain and put comments underneath it threatening the quail on smith and suggesting in no uncertain terms that they did not believe him whatsoever.
And this was only a few weeks after another individual, a very violent individual.
You might need to correct my pronounce the Iranian.
Hamid Samabar.
Yes.
So this was less than a week later.
after Sean Little was murdered.
And he was pictured at the scene of the crime in the aftermath.
It was very distinctive, if you remember.
And this Iranian had connections to crime all across Ireland before coming to Dublin, Longford and Cork.
But he was up here in the thick of all this anyway.
He was pictured at the scene in Balbriggan.
And less than a week later, six days later, he went over to the little household in Coolock to pay his respects.
And he was basically shot dead immediately.
on the garden of that property because there was a suspicion he'd been involved in setting up his friend Sean Little.

And it seems that, obviously, that's a big policing operation, that on that particular day, Stephen Little and a notorious criminal, actually, who was then based in New Ross, were intercepted by the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
They'd been under surveillance, but they were on their way to take out Quail and Smith.
