I knew John Cornyn could not win a primary.

He spent at least probably around $60, $70 million so far on his way to over $100 million before this whole thing is over.

And the reason we have a challenge is he is not limited by the $3,500 contribution, obviously, because you can't raise $60, $70 million at $3,500 a pop.

So despite all those ads, all those negative ads and this made-up fictional character, John Cornyn, who loves Donald Trump, totally made up and not true.

And even his positions that he's adopted in the last 10 months are completely the opposite of everything he stood for for his entire 40-plus years, all to get elected, all to fool the voters of Texas.

I think he's been in Washington so long.

I mean, we're talking about 24 years.

He's been in office since I was in college, and I'm 63.

I just think he doesn't view the grassroots, the actual voters as important.

His view is that Washington is important.

I can raise all the money I need to convince these people that he doesn't think are very smart, that he is a different person than he actually is.

and that I'm a different person than I actually am.

And so he cannot get elected in a primary telling the truth.

Otherwise, he would do it.

He would just tell people, no, I'm not pro-Trump.

No, I was against the border wall.

No, I was for him to see.

No, I sided with Joe Biden to bring Afghan refugees here.

No, I sided with Joe Biden to restrict the Second Amendment.

Why didn't he just tell us the truth?
