You know, we spend all this time trying to find commonality.
And sometimes we make it harder than it has to be.
You know, because songs come from lived experiences.
And I have written songs where, you know, it's been an appointment and some of them made my record.
But real commonality, it's hard.
Do you still spend much time in the Virgin Islands?
Not as much as I used to, some.
I still love it, but with social media, a lot of stuff changes.
It's just like, what used to be a place of real peace, it's not the same.
I take what I want from it, if that makes sense.
Are you writing songs all the time?
I wrote some a little bit in Vegas because I was still, but it's really hard for me to write on the road.
I have to be off that, out of that space to really write.
