You know, I think if you're looking at a...
So again, it's a team we've probably never faced.
I don't know, Andrew, you'll be able to tell me, is it the first time we're ever going to face them?
Yeah, I think so, yeah.
And you're going into a huge opening game in a World Cup.
You're going to be doing your work, you know, so they'll have, no doubt, Steve Clarke and his team and the players and the staff will have looked at that game and they'll be looking at it from a...
a learning perspective to learn about where their strengths are where their weaknesses are for me again I expect us to beat Haiti Andy I really do probably the same as you when this draw was made I'm not underestimating them I'm not I think you've got to treat them with full respect they're in the World Cup the same way we are and they've earned the right to be there
But I think with our group of players, if we're ever going to have a chance to qualify for the next stages of a major tournament, I think this is as good as it gets in this opportunity at this World Cup.
The way the format is, and even with the way the games have been scheduled, I think we've got a real opportunity.
And if we're going to take that opportunity, we have to win that opening game.
Listen, I think it could be because they've got two very promising coaches.
I mean, I can speak firsthand about Mark Fotheringham.
He's top level.
It's as simple as that.
You know, he's went in with Martin.
Again, I don't even know what the exact relationship between Martin and Mark was.
But the fact that Martin has phoned Mark Fotheringham and asked him to come in and help to work alongside Sean.
The fact that, again, he's got previous working in the Bundesliga.
And I've sat on the show and actually sang his praises before.
But there's not many Scottish coaches that have worked at the Bundesliga level.
