So if I look at our team and the series and evaluate our coach, it's impossible not to evaluate him in a positive way.
We've made a lot of progress in the regular season.
There are players who have made a lot of progress too.
But as for our players, as for us, there's still work to be done.
And that also applies to our coach.
And they know it.
And I expect them to work very hard in the summer to re-evaluate their season.
What does the team need?
How can they continue to improve?
And the thing I notice from them is that, like a staff, they have improved a lot from one year to the next.
And I expect that from them next year as well.
Oliver not playing at the end of the year doesn't change our point of view about Oliver.
He's a young player who played in Europe, who's not used to playing the number of games.
The amount of travel, all the things that come with it, whether it's Oliver or other players, I've always said that players don't forget how to play hockey.
So what we saw from Oliver hasn't changed.
We saw that there may have been a little more miseries at the end of the season than there was at the beginning of the season or in the middle of the season, but I attribute that more to fatigue than anything else, mentally, physically.
On the level of our team, what do we need to add?
I don't think we'll be discussing much more in the next few days, but I can't tell you that our point of view is necessarily different from what it was at the deadline.
It's not like we were surprised by something.
And I think, you know, being here in Canada, it's going to be a little bit of the narrative going into the cup final that there was that belief that, um, certain players in Toronto underperformed in the playoffs.
