And it's an art pitching with the lead.
We've talked to enough veteran guys who a lot of the times don't know how to do that.
How instead of making your pitch do you aim bigger?
I'm just not sure he knows how to do that right now, right?
Instead of trying to make the perfect pitch all the time, which, you know, it's just not feasible.
So, yeah, he's grinding through it.
You know, this is just a β I'd take him over some other guys they got.
You know, just the quality of depth that they don't have in the minor leagues, this is one of their dudes, right?
You know, he'll figure it out.
He's got good enough stuff.
You know, once he sees the hitters two more than once, he'll figure out ways to get them out.
It's kind of the same thing as a hitter, right?
The more I see that thing where he releases it from, better chance I got to not swing at the one he wants me to swing at and getting one down the middle so I can try and do what I want to do with it.
So it's kind of a cat and mouse.
He's a young guy.
He'll figure it out.
He's got one of the best pitching coaches in the sport.
Kind of fun to talk about that.
