Those are names they want to use in high leverage in late games, right?
Well, Mason flew hardy.
I like the sweeper late in games against the tough lefty.
Like I really do.
So, yeah, I don't know.
Look, it's one of them situations where if you've got a guy you have faith in that can get you two times through the order, then you run him out there and then you run your best after him.
Maybe they do it that way.
He got into a good rhythm, you know, after the homer.
And, yeah, I think it was just some breaking pitches up in the zone and some heaters kind of in the middle, you know.
And they put good swings on him, you know, happened kind of quick.
And, you know, you're a little short in the pen, but just pitches in the middle of the play, really.
But other than that, I thought he was really good.
Nothing crazy, you know what I mean?
I think that people probably put some unrealistic expectations on a guy that was basically โ
unhittable at times in the highest possible stress situations as a rookie.
You know what I mean?
So I don't think he has to do anything crazy.
I think just focus on getting ahead of hitters and executing when he does that.
