And were you arranging fights with these other firms?
Not me, mate.
I was there a lot of the times when it sort of went bandied.
You know, you've got to do what you've got to do.
But, in some hairy situations, you know, but Steve was like,
He was like the little general, you know.
Yeah, but they would all still be great pals.
Outside of football, if we went somewhere, it's, oh, phone up the lads.
And they'd phone up lads.
And all their lads would turn up.
And we'd be in a pub and have a drink.
But it's not football, so there's no problem.
It's only on a day.
It's like, you know, like, it's kind of like a tribal thing where the lads...
pitched their best lads against their best lads on the day for a little bit of peacocking and chess sticking out and all that.
But then after that, they're all best buddies.
Any memorable stroke-frightening moments you can remember for the football violent days?
There's quite a few, to be fair, but I couldn't tell you.
But this one sticks in my mind particularly.
We were playing Wrexham away and it was St George's Day.
