I can understand what they're thinking with him coming back for this year, but I don't think we'd be having the same conversation next year at this time, even if he did come back.
In other words, how about if he shocked you and had a really good season and they won a playoff game or two and now he's going to be 45?

But if he does, you know, sooner or later there's going to be an injury that's going to require him to be out, you would think, at his age for at some point.
So that's when it could change drastically.
But, you know, I don't think at this point they're going to do anything except move forward with him for one more year.
And I didn't think I'd be saying that, honestly.
I thought, I told you, I thought Will Howard or Mason or somebody else other than him would be their quarterback.
And even after his press conference, I was still convinced that that was the case.
It was in the 20s.
And, yeah, going back to the beginning of the season, Mike Tomlin thought it would be one of the best historically ever.
And against the run, it was historically bad at times, giving up big-time yardage.
So, yeah, they have β
They have some good young pieces.
There's no question about that.
But they got to get much better in terms of takeaways, but also just stingy when it comes to yards and points allowed.
The logic I get, in order to get to where you need to go, you first have to enter that so-called tournament.
