The Steelers had a chance for Jackson Dart this past year.
They chose to not take him.
I'm just telling you that's their theory.
And so, you know, that may be part of their thinking, too.
You know, they have Cam Hayward, they have TJ Watt.
They're trying to get him in that situation where they can do this, and they haven't had many cracks at it.
And when they have a crack at it, they don't do much in those games, and it hasn't resulted in anything but playoff failure.
So I get what they're trying to do.
I think if you make some shrewd moves, you may be able to push that ahead.
But it still starts with quarterback, and it still starts with a belief that you need a lot more pieces than they have.
That's where we are, and we'll see what happens in the draft and the trade market.
I still think there are going to be some interesting moves in free agency.
Did you think he was when they signed him?
I thought he was a really good player.
I thought, again, this is old for me, but if they had kept Pickens and have those two together, I think they might have been significantly better in terms of scoring points.
All I'm saying is they've still been looking for a number two, and they had a guy here instead of just β
