That contract kicked in and there's a lot of money involved in that contract.
Now you have to figure out ways to get someone to take it if you're going to do that or, you know, help that person with the money, whatever the case may be.
Yeah, I'd still be trying to load up on different things.
And I think your example of New England and I think your example of maybe Jacksonville and others, you know, you can turn things around pretty quickly in the NFL if you do things the right way.
But to me, I'd want to start with a quarterback situation as fast as possible.
And organically in doing that, maybe it lends me into a top 10 pick one day, you know.
If it goes bad, then you get a better pick.
That's kind of what I would do.
I mean, they're talking glowingly of him.
But, you know, having said that, I think Aaron Rodgers can still put up decent numbers.
Is it going to be enough when they get to the postseason, though?
That's the thing.
The goal is still to win a Super Bowl.
And if you think that you're in a position where you can do it with Aaron Rodgers, then you better give him a whole bunch this year.
And there's nothing wrong with that.
If you get enough assets this year, Joe, on offense, you add some to your defense, and you leave a cupboard that's fairly full for the next quarterback, whoever that may be, it'll help that guy when he comes in there, whoever he is.
So I think that's obviously the way they're going.
I would have loved to have seen Howard play.
