And it's ironic because I'm not sure when we think of the stereotypes that surround these two teams that a lot of people would have assumed that to be true.

whether it's a Canes defender or was Colasar in front of the net, but he gets credit for it.

You know, Rasmus Andersen struggled at times, but even he felt like they're doing this.

Like, look at the top D pairing.

Like, Braden McNabb's on their top pair.

And a large part of that, obviously, is Shea Theodore.

But I think their ability as a group defensively also ties into how well, and you mentioned the center depth,

how well they interplay with the forwards, right?

Like it's all, there's a cohesiveness to everything they do.

I mean, you guys have heard me talk about this.

Like I beat this horse to death.

It's limping out of the barn at this point if it can walk at all.

But defending is not about having great defensemen.

It's about having connection in all five guys.

And I think Vegas does that at both ends of the ice.

And even in their transition game, I think the defenders are allowed to

uh, flourish in part because of the consistency of execution of the other guys on the ice, not just their defense partners, not just, not just the shape theater helping elevate a brain McNabb.
