Hi, Karen.
Thanks for getting me on the program.
As you said that I moved to Ireland after my medical degree back 35 years ago.
And I'm a psychiatrist by profession.
And I have the highest qualification from Royal College of Psychiatrists London.
And I'm proudly serving Ireland all along these years.
I got citizenship back in 98.
I was married in 92.
And at that time, when I made an application for my wife to take her with me to Ireland, it looked like a deja vu phenomenon is happening with my son.
I had the problem at that time, but the problem was a delay in
in getting a visa, but the reason was they were refusing to give her a visa.
And here in the Saad's case, as you have heard, they are not refusing, but they are delaying.
And this delay of one year and a few months is not understandable.
Although they say that on their website that you will take 12 months, but why?
The question is, why 12 months?
I mean, what are they trying to dig out of it?
A boy who was born in Ireland, he's a doctor.
He has a basic right to have his wife with him.
He's paying tax.
