How do you explain all of this to the kids?
But even their ages, I'm just thinking about it.
I mean, three years ago, you had a six year old, a three year old and a one year old, did you?
So two of them really have no memory of life before being homeless.
How often are you trying to, I don't know, strike that balance between being honest with them about what's happening, but also protecting them from the reality of it?
She's specifically asking about... She's specifically asked.
So how do you manage things like that, like the communion or birthdays?
Even having friends over?
How hopeful are you that, I don't know, in a year's time, you and I wouldn't be here talking about this?
When you presented first three years ago to homeless services, had you a sense then of how long it would take?
Did you think, right, this is three or six months and we'll get back on our feet?
Yes.
Yeah.
How do you feel today?
Yeah.
So... Yeah, so it's, I mean...
It's not so much where you're living, it's the uncertainty.
Is that the worst thing about it, actually?
Yeah, and again, I want people to have a sense of what is your home and...
you know, there's communal spaces in the hub, but your home that you close your front door on, again, as we said, about the size of a mobile home, and where we're sitting is what we call it the living room area, and the two of us are on a two-seater sofa, and that's what it is.
