I'm probably not making these teams.
So I was always willing to push myself and work hard.
That was kind of inbuilt in me through my upbringing.
So, yeah, did that, made secondary schools successful.
I honestly didn't even know that team existed.
The secondary skills was never on your goals, obviously.
At the start of the year, I didn't even know I was there.
Because I was in UN system or whatever.
So, yeah, rugby went from the thing I love and played kind of for fun to, oh, man, shit, you could, you know.
And it's cool it was off the back of you putting in that effort, like making that sacrifice.
And you go, you actually realize, hey, look, you can control what you do.
If you put out something, you might get something back.
You can control how hard you work there.
And more just maybe building some confidence.
I was first 15 captain and head boy and stuff, but I was pretty shy, pretty quiet, definitely didn't say anything in those teams that I was in.
