um good to get out get in the a warm a warm flat at least and uh we're kind of a bit more communal living so yeah and close to uni so okay good and how'd you find going into the canterbury environment like as a player
Like, uh, obviously in the academy, the first couple of years.
Um, and yeah, it was actually quite, I quite enjoyed playing kind of that Canterbury under 21s or under 20s or something.
So, you know, um, I came down and played club.
Um, actually I ended up trying and making the cult, New Zealand Colts for the next two years.
You know, so, but Canterbury, I started in 06, yeah.
Like, it was a pretty cool environment to be a part of.
Yeah, he'd been my academy guy when I first came down.
Yeah, we've got a pretty close relationship.
He's the one who automatically said, you'll be a number eight.
