I'm not going to compete with them in power and things.
So, no, I think in my own mind, I based it all off the game.
Not necessarily right at that early 20s age.
I think you're just kind of trying to do everything as best you can.
So when you first come on the team, I don't think the testing was as β
structure as important as maybe how it's run now.
Definitely the gym training side wasn't as full on.
When I first came in, Canterbury, the first couple of years was you might only do one session a week.
And Monday would be anaerobic games and then go home.
Tuesday, you're done by lunchtime.
I was like, go play golf that afternoon.
Yeah, definitely not as full on as what it is now and what it progressed over my career.
But I just, I always look at testing and I go, well, I'm going to give my absolute all and I know I've pushed myself to where I need to get to, but
Yeah, I'm not then going to compare myself to others.
I compare myself with myself and I'll know deep down if I'm thin enough or not.
And so, yeah, that's how you got to,
I think that's the best way to do it.
If you're kind of looking at someone else, then, mate, that's kind of the, you know, I think it's the comparisons that the devil or something like that.
