I was just kind of – yeah, I wasn't able to be right there, which I think sometimes you need to get a feel for the group.

And so maybe if I was out there on the field, maybe I would have –

realize we could have changed something or maybe you know because it all just comes down to really small details at the top level um it could just be a little mindset shift a little bit of language that you can bring into a team just to just to change the direction of where a team's heading or where you're going to start the game and um

Yeah, honestly, in that semifinal, it was just England.

They just got that just right.

And we were just off.

And, you know, for all the work that we did to chase it and we put in so much effort, yeah, it was a performance that, you know, we just weren't good enough that night.

Yeah.

And that's just the way it is.

It was the first time we had players playing who hadn't lost a World Cup, you know, from my period.

Oh, yeah.

So it was the likes of me, Sonny, Sam, who'd played two World Cups and won, a few guys who'd won one World Cup, and then a few guys who hadn't played.

So what's your mentality there?

Are you happy, or are you still striving for that one?

I think going through some adversity and going through some tough times sets you up for some success in the future.

I thought the ABs in 23 might have got the job done and they were that close, right?

Yeah, yeah.

So that's twice of being knocked back.

That stuff kind of grows you.
