yeah so it's a tenth of my life was uh in that 10-year period was um in serafka yeah it's just quite crazy plus you had all the other times you're away now when do you want to go to the eight-week tour it's like a second home for you yeah it's an awesome place there right um the cream spinach calamari um so yeah every time we turned up in serafka we straight to the steak joint
Passion fruit and lemonade and awesome.
But yeah, you are a way to kind of, yeah, it's so right now I'm very conscious of that being home.
Like I, you know, I want to be, I got kids in teenage years and a boy who's nine.
Being there for them now is pretty cool.
Getting your weekends back is awesome.
When I was all black captain, it kind of,
Actually, my second daughter, Eden, she broke my heart.
You know, like you're pretty well recognized around the place and you didn't want to go to the mall and give photos, especially when you're taking your family and things like that.
So we'd always, instead of going to Margaret Mahie, we'd go to the shitty old country playground where no one was there.
And the kids always wanted to go in town.
I was like, oh, no, no, it's just better for us.
But obviously they don't get used to it, but you get used.
pushed and pulled in different places yeah rugby took me away and and being all black and she one day she said to me dad can you stop being all black captain yeah like not no it's all she knows is that being all that kept them in i left i went away yeah like we couldn't go to the cool playground couldn't go to the mall because there's people like it'll just be a nightmare
You realize the impact it has on them.
