What do you think singularity, when we talk about artificial intelligence, means?
Singularity.
What do I think it means?
This is a fun fact you're going to take with you.
All right, lay it on me.
Do you know what it means?
I've heard the phrase.
It's just like zeitgeist.
I've heard people use the word zeitgeist all the time.
I've probably used it.
I don't know what it really means.
Singularity is when AI can do things all by itself.
It doesn't need to suck in everybody's knowledge bank.
It doesn't need anybody to give it a prompt.
For example, AI will no longer rely on human programmers to advance because it's going to write its own code.
It's going to solve complex problems in medicine, physics, and engineering that would take humans decades, but can do it in minutes.
It's going to think and act on its own, making decisions.
So maybe tackling big problems or making decisions we don't agree with or understand.
And AI and singularity will outperform humans in every single aspect.
