Last week, Tesla celebrated a milestone.
Its first production cybercabs, the ones sold to the public, rolled off the assembly line.
Meanwhile, pre-production models are being tested in Austin, Texas, Fremont, California, and some cold weather testing in Buffalo, New York.
And these tests are frightening.
Waymo uses modified Jaguar electric SUVs, so a human driver can easily get in and take over.
But Tesla robotaxis have no steering wheel, no brake pedals, and no accelerators.
Accidents and incidents are four times as high as human drivers.
An incident means property damage only.
An accident means injuries.
Both are crashes.
