Can you talk about that intersection between consolidation in the industry and climate change?
This is Vail the company.
You know, it's been interesting this week, you know, as I've been falling down the hill talking to the people who ski regularly.
The place where I'm staying was recently purchased not by Vela or Altera, but by a smaller conglomerate.
But everybody's very nervous about it, you know, moving from an independent resort to sort of even being owned by a smaller group.
because of what they have seen in these other conglomerates.
And you talked about the benefits of it and the resiliency, but what does it do to sort of the winter sport experience to have just a couple of companies controlling so much of it?

What does all this mean for who gets to participate in winter sports in general?
Well, thank you so much.
Professor Daniel Scott is the professor and research chair in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo.
Thank you so much, Dr. Scott.
I really appreciate your time.
And one interesting piece of news I saw after my conversation with Professor Scott, Vail Resorts, the company that offers Epic Pass, said it's lowering prices for next winter's ski season for skiers and snowboarders between the ages of 13 and 30.
