And he just looked really heavy and slow.
And I thought, no, he's no chance of making it.
Well, since he's gone to Melbourne, obviously he would have been a work in progress at St Kilda.
His body shape has totally changed.
He just looks rock hard fit.
And to see him jump against Grundy, that was a great battle yesterday.
Grundy took the honors, no doubt.
He beat Max and both the Maxes, Heath and Gorn.
But to see this young man just stake a claim for an AFL career, he looks like a really promising player.
It's a hard one, isn't it?
He's 24.
He's played just short of 60 games.
