I think I might have made a bigger thing about it in my head.

But, yeah, no, I never reported to the service, never told anyone.

I certainly didn't report that particular thing because I was frightened if I did, they'd say, right, that's enough, you're coming back.

Yeah, never reported that to them.

He was taller than me, but that's no great achievement.

90% of the population are taller than me.

But he was sort of medium height, medium build, slim build.

He had fair hair, reasonably fair hair, mousies of fair hair.

Quite a good-looking man and a very good-looking wife.

His wife was quite gorgeous with her high slivered cheekbones and blonde hair.

And she was lovely too.
