The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced this year's class of inductees.

Among those being honored are Billy Idol, Sade, and Luther Vandross.

There are the bands Oasis, Iron Maiden, the Wu-Tang Clan, and Joy Division New Order.

There's also Phil Collins.

Phil Collins is being recognized for his solo work.

He was inducted in 2010 with members of his former band, Genesis.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is November 14th in Los Angeles.

Pakistan has proposed the U.S.

and Iran hold a second round of talks in Pakistan, according to the Associated Press.

The report says the proposed talks could be held in coming days, before the end of the current ceasefire.

Meanwhile, shipping traffic now appears to be almost halted in the Strait of Hormuz.

The U.S.

and Iran are both blocking oil exports through the narrow waterway.

NPR's Greg Myrie reports countries worldwide are feeling economic pain.

Today in Washington, officials from Lebanon and Israel will hold direct diplomatic talks for the first time in more than 30 years.
