Israel's military says it has expanded its strikes on Iran, as it also battles Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Turkey is calling for all parties in the Mideast war to refrain from escalating the conflict.

This comes after NATO air defenses shot down an Iranian missile headed for Turkey.

Iran has denied that it fired the missile.

That Turkey could come under attack introduces the potential the war could widen to involve other NATO countries.

There are reports of several explosions today over Qatar.

That country lies to the west of Iran across the Persian Gulf.

American Odise Turner has been trying to leave Qatar for days, but he cannot get out.

Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett has conceded the Democratic primary election to state Senator James Tallarico.

It's over the race for the U.S.

Senate seat from Texas.

Texas Newsroom's Blaise Ganey reports Tallarico held an event

Meanwhile, there will be a runoff primary election for the U.S.

Senate seat on the Republican side.

Incumbent John Cornyn will face Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
