This is really important because China right now has very little domestic oil production.
And that means it relies on these imports.
If they don't get it from the Gulf, they've got to buy it from Russia.
And by the way, the Russians are going to charge more.
Right.
And there's one other aspect, and that is China's been buying a lot of discounted oil from places like Iran and Venezuela, and they've been using the Chinese currency to do that.
Well, if you're buying from Russia, it's more likely that they're going to have to start paying dollars.
And if they buy more on the open market, they're certainly paying dollars.
And China doesn't want to do that.
Yes, and that's important because once we take Iran off the table, then the Middle East actually has a chance for enduring peace.
You have President Trump's Abraham Accords of the first term.
Those can be extended, especially to Saudi Arabia, if we can get that sorted out.
And that will be the way for peace in that extremely troubled region.
So you can be optimistic once President Trump takes down the Ayatollah's regime.
China has been supplying intelligence, and they've been doing that clearly in open sources because they've been publishing the location and showing the Iranians the location of American military assets.
