That was really important to me.
Because when I was looking for a lawyer, I couldn't get anyone to return my calls.
I found one guy who does wrongful death cases for mold.
And I reached out to him.
And I was in AUSA.
I mean, I was a lawyer.
And I sent him an email.
And I called and left messages.
And I said, hey, if I could just have 15 minutes of your time, you could just give me some advice.
I understand you might not be able to take my case.
He didn't even return my call.
He didn't even have a paralegal return my call or a receptionist or something.
Nothing.
And I thought, you know what?
If you only want to do wrongful death cases, you can have the dead people.
You have to die to get representation?
You know what?
You help the dead people, and I'm going to help the people who are alive.
And that was a real inspiration to start my firm, because we shouldn't have to die to get representation.
when it really matters to these families.
