I am the one who does all the effort and the communicating, and my mother does not reciprocate.

I call her all the time.

I try to keep her up to date as I am abroad.

I live in Spain.

I'm from Kenya.

And we try to keep in touch.

And recently, it's completely gone off because I've stopped putting in the effort.
