I still want to know what happens if you eat it.

So if you want to make it grow, you just give it a little hoctua.

I was intrigued by these MRE heaters.

When I go camping, I prefer to camp right next to the truck.

Same, actually.

Camping right next to the truck means I have the 30-gallon water tank and all my food and supplies and everything in the truck.

Which means I have the means to add a little bit of water to the MRE meal and then reheat it with the Jetboil.

And then I found that if you do that, add a little bit of water, like the spaghetti with meat sauce is a good example.

Like you open it up and it's all chunky and it's like, oh, it's weird and chunky and there's no actual sauce.

It's meat.

It's sauce chunks.

You know what I mean?

You add just a tiny bit of water.

and jet boil it, and it reconstitutes basically back into spaghetti sauce.

And MREs become quite edible, actually.

Now, the downside is you still burp up that awful MRE taste, but that's just what happens when you're eating an MRE.
