So, you know, and I wasn't embarrassed because that was my own silly fault with a glass of wine, but... Some of the best bargains are done when you've got a glass of wine in your hand at 10 o'clock at night.

So...

I didn't report that because I didn't need to report that.

But I understand with someone who's lost $100,000, you know, that sense of shame because then they then talk about how stupid they are internally, not externally, what we say as a community.

So that's why they don't go forward.

And report, because it's hard to sort of then relive it.

Because you've got to go through the tick the boxes.

100%.

And that's worse than the financial.

So any victim will talk about the emotional loss, the loss of what they thought was somebody

of importance in their life has now gone.

So for them, it's, yes, I have lost 40,000 and that's devastating within the financial aspect, but I've also now lost who I am as a person.

You know, what did I do wrong?

So there's, it becomes that self blame of,

I'm stupid, I'm dumb, you know, and we all do silly things in our life, but we can move on from that.

Scam victims take a long time to actually accept that.

I would actually say some of them don't.

It is a real challenge because there's no direct processes for them to go to.
