There's just 20 different sponsors on a shirt.
You don't want that.
You want your team's logo, and you want the competition logo, and you want your colours.
That's what you want, which is why Super Rugby brought out those retro shirts last year, and they did well.
Keep it on the same weekend as well, Anzac weekend.
Just quickly, Magic Round in Brisbane, I think we've talked about this quite a bit during the week on and off air.
It's been there for eight years and the crowd numbers have gone up and up and up and up every year.
COVID sort of changed things a little bit, but up and up and up the last few years.
Now, I don't know if it's the same this year or it has been every other year, but at least last year when I went, Brisbane had a public holiday on the Monday.
So having...
so I don't know if it was for the event or it was their own version of Labor Day I can't remember exactly but it's so that people can go along on that Sunday enjoy the rugby enjoy the league head out to a couple of pubs for some dinner afterwards and then know that they've got the Monday off to fly back home and settle in like you don't have to yeah you don't have to rush so keep it on Anzac weekend as well is my point
Agreed.
Charlie Famuena was on another podcast and he made mention of, I think I might have said this on the show last week, I can't remember, but he, just in case I hadn't, he said that there's always one forward out in the back line at a line out.
The flankers' job at scrum time is nowhere near as vital as a front rower or your locks.
And in terms of Jackling, that's something that you can see Lester Whanganuku has picked up already, so he's good at the breakdown.
So in terms of the technical elements of playing seven or just playing the loose four trio, he's either got some parts down pat and other parts it's not totally necessary for him to be involved, so you can get away with it.
But I would think that you absolutely need a, I would have thought that Lester at eight makes a little bit more sense because he's a really good ball runner off the back of a scrum in particular.
And then you'd have a seven who resembles a Richard McCaw or a Sam Kane or maybe even a Tom Chrissie or a Matt Todd who's
really just proficient at the breakdown, and that can be an Adi Savi, I think Duplissie Karefi's very good at the breakdown.
McWright's good at this.
